Here a decent looking 120 size decathlon for sale. If wanted to go gas,
I'll bet you could sell the included O.S. 1.60 glow engine for close to the
price of this whole setup, making the airframe *free*.

I called on it. Alas, it sold within minutes after you posted it to the
list! Wow, $140 for an OS 160, all servos, no Rx but a 6v battery pack...
that's an amazing deal. Looked in great condition, too. Gigantic bird for a
teeny, tiny price!

I was too slow, sorry about that. As far as the airframe you've described,
I think a SPAD would work great. I've seen several great looking large scale
gasser SPADs in the big rc forums. I'm really interested in doing weedie
conversions as well, so I hope you keep us up to date on your progress. --
