From Wade Joos, club president.

Guys,

We need to have another of the fun clean up days this weekend.

We need to have at least one small burn that will have to be completed by the end of the burn season. The burn season ends the last day of May. So with that in mind, lets all pitch in this weekend and clean up the previously burned piles.

The task will look like this:

We will provide a dump truck and large plastic bags. What we need to do is rake up the ashes and debris that is left from the previous burns. We will place this debris in bags and throw it into a dump truck that is being provided by Rob Weston. He will then drop it off at the dump.

Anyone that has and wants to bring along a trailer to help would be appreciated.

Also, if anybody has one of those pump-up type sprayers that we could use to spray the grass patches on the field, please let me know. We could spray Saturday, but that could be done later. The most important thing at this point is cleaning up the burn piles.

Equipment of the day should include but not be limited to:

rakes, shovels, gloves etc.

It should go pretty easy if we all pitch in.

Meet at the gate at 9:00 on Saturday, April 28th.

Bring some planes and we will have open flying after lunch.

The club will provide lunch and drinks.

Thanks to all of you for your help and patience with the clean up project.

All the work is starting to pay off.

Thanks

Wade
